Super Steel to start layoffs at N.Y. rail car plant in Jan.

Super Steel Products Corp., Milwaukee, will start laying off workers Jan. 21 at a plant in Glenville, N.Y., ahead of a closure of the facility scheduled for April.

The closure, which will cost at least 175 jobs, will be concluded by the first two weeks of April, the company disclosed.....
