U.S. warehouse volumes of aluminum alloy warranted for settling London Metal Exchange transactions have risen 50 percent since August.

For much of late summer and early autumn, prices were attractive. Meanwhile, physical demand from diecasters has faded. Smelters no longer have that warehouse option, since LME....
