Rio Tinto delays Indonesian nickel project

Rio Tinto has delayed its Sulawesi nickel project in Indonesia by at least two years to 2017 at the earliest due to ongoing land disputes.

Issues such as taxes, royalty payments and the forestry department permit have been finalized, but Rio's case against the overlapping land claims in its mining area has been overturned, according to....
