Boeing scrap won by Alcoa in 1st-qtr. sale

Alcoa Inc., Pittsburgh, was high bidder for forthcoming aluminum scrap in Washington state from Boeing Co., offering 55.12 cents a pound for both 2000-and 7000-series alloy.
Two other bidders offered lower amounts, one of which was at 45.15 cents for both lots, the other 38.69 cents for the 2000 alloy and 36.69 cents for 7700....
