Kaiser sets closure of one plant, output cut at another

The rash of aluminum closures and production curtailments is continuing, with Kaiser Aluminum Corp. announcing plans to close operations at its Tulsa, Okla., extrusion facility and significantly reduce operations at its Bellwood, Va., plant.
The move will affect 45 employees at the Tulsa facility and 125 employees at Bellwood, the Foothill Ranch, Calif.-based company said Thursday.
The two plants primarily produce extruded seamless tube and rod and bar products, sold mainly to service centers for general engineering applications.....
