Siemens to pay $1.3B in fines

Siemens AG agreed this week to pay more than $1.3 billion in fines in Germany and the United States to settle corruption charges.

The Munich-based engineering company will pay $800 million in fines in the United States and another $533.6 million to European authorities. Siemens has acknowledged making unlawful....
