ISRI urging next EPA head to put focus on recycling

The Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) is urging President-elect Barack Obama's nominee to head the Environmental Protection Agency to make recycling a major element when dealing with climate change and international trade.
In a letter to Lisa Jackson, who recently finished a two-year stint heading New Jersey's Department of Environmental Protection, ISRI president Robin Wiener said that such an approach would foster "making American manufacturing more energy- and material-efficient."....
