Japan copper smelters settle ’09 TC/RCs

Japanese copper smelters have settled 2009 annual treatment and refining charges (TC/RCs) at $75 per tonne/7.5 cents per pound, according to several sources.
Executives from Japanese companies couldn't be reached for comment, but the deal was confirmed by well-placed sources in the Chinese copper sector.....
