Sandvik to alter surcharge model

Sandvik Materials Technology, Sandviken, Sweden, will modify its alloy surcharge model for seamless tubular products starting Jan. 1 in a bid to reduce time lags.
Sandvik's rates from Nov. 16 to Dec. 15 will be debited, with the new formula to be based on average alloying costs for one month.....
