Secondary ingot prices edge up; more gains loom

Secondary aluminum ingot spot prices are inching up, with the possibility of more gains to come.
The range for A380.1 is now pegged at $1.065 to $1.08 a pound vs. $1.065 to $1.075 previously. The volume at the top of the range isn't yet robust, although some smelters reportedly are delighted to avoid non-contract sales as they try to hoard their supplies of cheap....
