Aluminum scrap pricing steady, but some signs pointing down

Consumer prices for smelter-grade aluminum scrap are broadly unchanged, although the signals are somewhat mixed.
There have been scattered indications of occasional deals at higher prices over the past few days, although mild declines could be coming shortly. AMM's price range for turnings has been raised 1 cent on the high end to 76 to 78 cents a pound, but activity below that range also has been reported. Other smelter listings are....
