Spectro Alloys Corp. has agreed to pay a $70,923 penalty to settle alleged clean-air violations at the company's secondary aluminum smelter in Rosemount, Minn.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's regional office in Chicago alleged that Spectro exceeded emission limits for dioxins and furans at two of its furnaces,....
