Union members accept five-year Wise Alloys deal

Production workers at Wise Alloys LLC's aluminum rolling mill in Muscle Shoals, Ala., ratified a five-year labor contract Thursday by a margin of 56 percent to 44 percent, the union said.
The 330 production workers in United Steelworkers union Local 200 were supposed to report to work Tuesday on the basis of a tentative agreement but the return was gradual, due to a continuing dispute over 200 outsourced maintenance jobs involving other unions. As of Thursday, about....
