Shredder in clear, but Metalico decides to think on it

Plans by Metalico Inc. to build a shredder near Rochester, N.Y., have surmounted a court challenge but face a new hurdle a strategy review by the company itself.
All options are back on the table, the head of the Cranford, N.J.-based company indicated Friday.
At one point, Metalico was interested in buying a nearby shredder from Union Processing Corp. A letter of intent was signed by the two companies in March 2006.
After those negotiations fell through, Union Processing joined local homeowners in a court fight to overturn the Chili (N.Y.) Planning Board's April 2007 authorization for Metalico to build its own shredder on Scottsville Road.....
