France’s Veolia adds Bartin Recycling to fold

PHILADELPHIA — French waste handler Veolia Environmental Services has acquired Bartin Recycling Group, France's third-largest recycler of ferrous and nonferrous metals.

Bartin Recycling, which specializes in the collection and recycling of industrial waste, recycles 780,000 tonnes of metals annually, generating revenue of 249 million euros ($350 million) in 2006, Veolia said.....
