Commerce extends China market economy comment period

The U.S. Department of Commerce's request for public comment on whether to consider granting market-economy status to individual Chinese companies has been extended until Dec. 10.

It's unclear why Commerce changed the timeline, but sources said it was not unusual for the government to do so. The comments were originally due Nov.....
