CVRD Inco eyes $760M outlay for Manitoba operations

Nickel production at CVRD Inco Ltd.'s operations in Thompson, Manitoba, is expected to increase 36 percent following an expansion and modernization of its mining, smelting and refining facilities.
Thompson's proposed expansion, which a company spokeswoman said remains in its "very early stages," is expected to cost about Canadian $750 million ($760 million).....
