Petaquilla looking to build Panama’s first copper mine

Petaquilla Copper Ltd., Vancouver, British Columbia, plans to start development of its Botija Abajo copper and gold deposit in Cocle province in east-central Panama, an executive said Monday.
Petaquilla is looking to build a mill capable of processing 120,000 tonnes of ore per day that will yield 233,000 tonnes of copper, 87,000 ounces of gold and 2,680 tonnes of molybdenum per year over a mine life of 24....
