Production issues pummeled Western Canadian Coal Corp. during its fiscal second quarter.
The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company logged a Canadian $43.9-million ($44.4 million) loss during the quarter, more than nine times the C$4.8-milliion loss recorded in the year-earlier quarter, despite sales that increased more than six times to C$67.9 million ($68.7 million).....
