Zorba loses ground; US smelters’ buying prices flat

U.S. smelters' buying prices for aluminum scrap are mostly flat, although the export mixture known as zorba has weakened considerably, sources said.
Views differ as to the extent of zorba's slide, with sources quoting drops of between 2 and 4 cents a pound. One seller reported zorba flat during the past week, but had lowered his reported value by 2 cents earlier in the month.....
