Elkem AS, Oslo, Norway has chosen Helge Holen as its new president and chief executive officer, effective Dec. 21.
He succeeds John G. Thuestad, who will become president of Alcoa Inc.'s alumina and aluminum business on Jan. 1, 2008.....
