Steelmakers forge hot-roll supply deals with Hyundai subsidiaries

Two major Chinese steel industry players have laid plans to supply hot-rolled product to subsidiaries of South Korea's Hyundai Motor Group.
Jiangsu Shagang Group Co. Ltd., China's largest private steel mill, has signed a memorandum of understanding to supply 240,000 tonnes of hot-rolled coil to auto sheet producer Hyundai Hysco, Seoul, South Korea, in 2008 as part of a long-term supply deal, a Shagang sales executive said. The volume supplied will be reviewed and is adjustable, he added, but declined to disclose further details.....
