Damage minimal at G&S plant in Georgia following blast

Three seriously injured workers remained hospitalized Friday from an explosion Thursday at the Manchester, Ga., smelter of G&S Metals Inc. but equipment damage was mostly confined to a pre-heater and ductwork.
"We're getting ready to start back up," said Scott Galley, president of the Wabash, Ind.-based producer of aluminum wheel ingot and wrought alloy from scrap.....
