Novelis to supply sheet for GM’s ’08 hybrid SUVs [UPDATE]

Novelis Inc. is entering the hot hybrid vehicle market, the latest shot in the perpetual battle between steel and aluminum suppliers to the auto industry.
The Atlanta-based division of India's Hindalco Industries Inc. will supply aluminum sheet to General Motors Corp. for the hoods and liftgates on the automaker's 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid and GMC Yukon Hybrid sport utility vehicles.....
