Eramet Marietta ready to drop force majeure

After nearly nine months, Eramet Marietta Inc. has told customers it will lift its force majeure on silicomanganese shipments by the end of the year as it has stockpiled enough material.
"Eramet recently notified customers it is lifting its force majeure," a source close to the company said. "It only applies to contracts that are in force majeure. The company has rebuilt stocks to sustainable levels."....
