LME plays down concerns over warrants for Iran metal

The London Metal Exchange has made light of concerns raised by its continued acceptance of warrants for aluminum produced by Iranian Aluminium Co. (Iralco).
With tough new U.S. sanctions now in force against the regime in Iran, some LME members have sought information on the consequences of holding Iralco warrants.
"Iralco is still listed and good for delivery," an exchange spokeswoman said. "We are not aware of members having problems."....
