AISI raps cap-and-trade bill; China points West

The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) has "grave concerns" with the cap-and-trade emissions bill passed by the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.

"The U.S. steel industry is the most energy efficient in the world and this bill would apply a one-size-fits-all model and impose a system and regime that would give worse environmental performers a leg up in this market," Andrew G.
