Mills to hike specialty tube prices 5% in new year

A host of mills plan to ring in the new year with increases on specialty tubing prices, according to recent customer letters seen by AMM.
U.S. Steel Corp., Pittsburgh, appears to have kicked off the round of increases with five percent increases on non-contract base prices for drawn-over-mandrel (DOM), cold-drawn seamless, hot-finish electric resistance welded, and hot-finish seamless tubing.....
