China mills eyeing hike in plate export offers

Chinese steel plate export offers have remained unchanged from two weeks ago, but mills could raise offers, market participants said.

"Our (heavy plate) export transactions have weakened, and the major reason is that we couldn't get material from mills, although there are plenty of inquiries from South Korea," a Hangzhou-based trader said.....
