Enduro hiking chrome-plated steel $40/T on Jan. 1

Enduro Industries Inc. is seeking price increases of $40 a ton ($2 per hundredweight) on chrome-plated steel shafting for shipments on or after Jan. 1.

The move is necessary due to recent cost increases announced by North American mini-mill special bar quality (SBQ) steelmakers, the Hannibal, Mo.-based chrome-plated and induction hardened bar....
