Infra-Metals earmarks $10M-plus to build 7th service center

Carbon steel distributor Infra-Metals Co. will build its seventh service center as the company's parent, Atlanta-based PNA Group Inc., names a new chief financial officer.
Infra-Metals has been awarded tax and financing incentives from the Ohio Department of Development to develop, build and operate a new facility in the village of New Boston in southern Ohio, PNA said.
The new Infra-Metals center, which will cost more than $10 million and operate as part of the company's Northern division, will be on a 50-acre site on the Ohio river and is due to start up in the first quarter of 2009 following the start of construction in the first quarter next year.
