Primary aluminum production up in US, Canada vs. Nov. 2006

The annual rate of U.S. primary aluminum production increased 17 percent to 2,673,297 tonnes in November from 2,285,435 tonnes in the same month last year and was 1.5 percent higher than 2,632,710 tonnes in October 2007, according to the latest figures from the Aluminum Association, Arlington, Va.
For the year to date, the annual rate of U.S. aluminum production was 2,545,517 tonnes, up 11.7 percent from 2,278,774 tonnes a year earlier.....
