Keystone planning $40-a-ton wire rod hike for February

Keystone Consolidated Industries Inc. plans to boost wire rod prices by $40 a ton ($2 per hundredweight), effective with Feb. 1 shipments.

The Dallas-based company said in a Dec. 10 letter to customers that it needs to raise prices to cover higher production costs.....
