CMC in joint venture with Singapore’s Albedo

Commercial Metals Co. (CMC) has formed a joint venture with Singaporean materials supplier Albedo Ltd. as part of plans to expand it presence in the region.
"It is part of a strategy to get closer to customers in whatever geography, and clearly the Asian market is very attractive," William Larson, CMC's chief financial officer, said Tuesday. "This is an initial investment, and we'll see how....
