Worker dies in U.S. Steel plant mishap

U.S. Steel Corp. executives are investigating an accident at its Gary (Ind.) Works that resulted in the death of a 28-year-old contractor employee.

Jeremy Simpson of Hobart, Ind., died of injuries suffered when he was struck by falling refractory materials while working to repair a mixer in the plant's steel shop.....
