Alexin building aluminum billet plant in Indiana

Alexin LLC, a start-up company in Bluffton, Ind., has broken ground on a $56-million aluminum billet casting facility that is scheduled to be operational by November next year.
The 350,000-square-foot plant is expected to produce more than 210 million pounds of billet from scrap annually. Alexin will offer billet up to 16 inches in diameter with finished lengths up to 290 inches.....
