Merger may yield world’s top bismuth producer

Seven bismuth producers in China's main nonferrous metals production base in Chenzhou, in the southern province of Hunan, are looking to create what would become the world's largest bismuth producer.
"The plan is being worked out now and the new company could be formed in December," said an executive at Hunan Shizhuyuan Nonferrous Metals Corp. Ltd., the only state-owned company among the seven.....
