Executive shakeup coming down the pike at SeverCorr

Steel production got under way a little more than a month ago at SeverCorr LLC, Columbus, Miss., but management changes are already in the wind.
Although no specifics have been disclosed, JSC Severstal, Cherepovets, Russia, confirmed that it is in discussions with SeverCorr management about changing the ownership structure of the mini-mill. That likely will mean that at least a few top executives from SeverCorr's current management team will be leaving the company, perhaps within a week.
John Correnti, SeverCorr's chief executive officer, couldn't be reached for comment Thursday, and a SeverCorr spokesman declined to comment, citing ongoing discussions between Severstal and the current SeverCorr management team. "We can't release any details at this point," the spokesman said.....
