Haynes’ net income hits record $66.1M in fiscal 2007

Increased demand and accepted price increases helped high-performance alloys producer Haynes International Inc., Kokomo, Ind., post record earnings during the current fiscal year.

Haynes posted annual net income of $66.1 million, up 86 percent from $35.5 million a year earlier, on sales that rose 28.9 percent to $559.8 million.

For the fourth quarter, net income totaled nearly $17.8 million, up 73.2 percent from the same three-month span last year, on sales that rose 41.1 percent to almost $161 million.....
