Senate committee eyes global cap-and-trade standard

The Senate Finance Committee intends to hold a hearing next week examining how to persuade foreign countries to adhere to the emissions standards proposed under the Lieberman-Warner cap-and-trade bill, a Capitol Hill source said Friday.
The hearing is loosely scheduled for Dec. 20.....
