United Steelworkers union members from throughout North America are convening Monday in Pittsburgh to discuss strategy for upcoming bargaining with major steel and iron ore producers.
The Basic Steel Industry Conference, set for Dec. 17-18, is open to all union locals at steel plants in North America, but the primary focus is likely to be the collective bargaining agreements with ArcelorMittal USA Inc., Chicago, U.S. Steel Corp., Pittsburgh, and other steel producers that....
