Baffinland, TK Steel sign iron ore supply deal

Baffinland Iron Mines Corp., Toronto, plans to sell up to 3 million tonnes of iron ore annually to ThyssenKrupp Steel AG.
While it hasn't pulled any ore out of the ground yet, the mining company has signed a letter of intent with the Duisburg, Germany-based steelmaker to sell 15 to 20 percent of the initial 18-million-tonne-a-year output at Baffinland's Mary River project, a mining venture in Canada's Nunavut Territory whose ore is....
