Aluminum scrap bids lose edge in auction by Spirit AeroSystems

Aluminum scrap prices moved mostly lower in the quarterly auction for forthcoming material from Wichita, Kan.-based Spirit AeroSystems Inc., which makes fuselage and wing components.
The largest offering, briquetted mixed aluminum borings, registered a decline of 5 percent from three months ago, with the Wichita-based Glickman Metal Recycling unit of Yaffe Iron & Metal Co. offering 71.33 cents a pound.....
