Bombardier lands N. American pacts for rail cars, locomotives

Bombardier Inc. has been awarded two major North American contracts valued at Canadian $480 million ($475 million) to build commuter rail cars and locomotives.
The largest contract, valued at C$386 million ($381 million), is for 160 multi-level stainless steel commuter cars for Montreal's ATM suburban transit service to be delivered from late 2009 to 2012. They are to be built at....
