Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. is facing up to $210,000 in federal fines for alleged health and safety violations at its Steubenville, Ohio, plant.

The U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued citations to Wheeling-Pittsburgh for 12 repeat violations with proposed penalties of $190,000 as the result of a recent follow-up to a February 2006 inspection.
