ITE to buy GM’s medium truck business

General Motors Corp. has penned an agreement to sell its medium-duty truck business to International Truck & Engine Corp. as part of plans to focus on cars and light trucks.

The financial terms of the deal between the Detroit-based automaker and the primary operating subsidiary of Navistar International Corp., Warrenville, Ill., were not disclosed. The deal is expected to close in 2008.....
