Three arrested in theft of 23 bronze sculptures

Vermont State Police have arrested two men and a woman in connection with the theft of bronze sculptures valued at $1 million that were later sold to local scrapyards.
According to local news reports, Vermont State Police arrested the three—Joshua Staples, 18; Anni Wells, 26; and Roger Chaffee, 29—on Monday and charged them with possession and sale of stolen property. Some 23 sculptures were recovered from Burnett....
