US bismuth prices slip further from midyear peak

Spot bismuth prices continued their soft landing after a midyear rally that saw tags topping $19 per pound.
The lower end of the U.S. spot price spread widened to $12 to $14 per pound from a previous range of $13 to $14 per pound.
One trader put the market between $12 and $13 per pound and said prices were simply continuing to return to normal after spiking in the second quarter on the back of speculative buying by traders and panic buying by customers.....
