Buyout specialist Weatherly Group acquires Defiance Metal Products

Vehicle parts manufacturer Defiance Metal Products Co., Defiance, Ohio, has been sold for an undisclosed price to an affiliate of New York-based buyout company Weatherly Group LLC.
Executives said that Defiance, a fabricator of metal parts and assemblies such as brackets, enclosures, cases, panels, framing and housings for commercial vehicle manufacturers, will continue to operate....
