EPA accuses Del’s Metal of clean-air violations

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has filed an administrative complaint against Del's Metal Co. for alleged clean-air violations at its secondary aluminum facility in Rock Island, Ill.

The federal agency's regional office in Chicago said that Del's Metal failed to test its aluminum sweat furnace emissions for dioxins and furans or to install an afterburner....
